Mara Clara, Mutya tie for top spot in the nationwide TV ratings

'Mara Clara' and 'Mutya' both grabbed the top spot in the nationwide ratings released by Kantar Media / TNS for Wednesday, March 30, 2011.

Despite GMA 7's "Captain Barbell" joining the competition starting last Monday, the said two Kapamilya shows remain the strongest primetime programs along with 3 other Kapamilya shows which took the 3rd to 5th slots in the Top 10 rankings.

The remaining 5 in the Bottom 10 all came from GMA 7.

When it comes to the daytime ranking, 3 Kapuso programs are the consistent leaders and they are "Eat Bulaga", "Temptation Of Wife" and "My Lover My Wife".

Only two ABS-CBN shows entered the Top 10: "Showtime" and the new show from Korea, "My Princess".

For the first time, GMA 7's "Alakdana" failed to rank in the Top 10. Previously, Alakdana usually ranked in the Top 5.

Kat Romana, cousin of Dimples Romana, still missing

Dimples Romana's 14-year-old cousin Catherine 'Kat Kat' Romana has been missing for 6 days now.

Kat Kat's parents have made a page on Facebook last March 30 asking help from everyone to find Kat Kat who has been missing since March 26.

According to Mony Romana, Kat Kat's father and Dimple's uncle, his daughter has a
learning disability, does not communicate very well and knows little about going around.

KatKat was last seen at a computer shop in Sta. Ana Village, Brgy. San Valley, Paranaque City around 6PM last Saturday. She was wearing a green T-shirt, shorts and a pink back-pack.

They cause a ruckus everywhere they go, and last night (March 30) the Victoria’s Secret Angeles were in the house at Club L in Los Angeles. Miranda Kerr, Alessandra Ambrosio, Adriana Lima, and Candice Swanepoel all showed up to promote the 2011 Victoria’s Secret SWIM Collection.

The Pink Carpet Event was quite the shindig, with a guest list that included Kim Kardashian, Joe Jonas, and John Legend. And with all the sexy new looks in the Victoria’s Secret SWIM Collection, beach season just got even hotter.

Candice Swanepoel: Skinny Scare?

She showed up at the Victoria’s Secret SWIM event in Los Angeles yesterday looking rather thin, and now there are fears that Candice Swanepoel is too skinny.

The South African babe appeared to have lost quite a bit of weight since her photos from a few months ago, triggering several media sources to show concern.

A post on the Hollywood Life website said Candice was “scarily, skeletally, stick-thin,” while CBS News stated that she looked “startlingly slim.”

Back in November, Swanepoel told press, "Actually, this year my problem has been more putting the weight on and getting muscle on because it's been really busy. I've been traveling around like crazy. I get skinnier if I'm very busy.”

Why Boston, you ask? Well, kids, I've been invited by the Fashion Society of Boston's Emerson College to give a very special lecture as part of their "Fashion Week Spring 2011" festivities.

In case you didn't know--The Fashion Society of Emerson College in Boston is celebrating Spring 2011 Fashion Week with several great events--fashion shows, a 'Top Model Contest"-- with ALL PROCEEDS going to The Trevor Project, best known for "It Gets Better" campaign.

As a big supporter of The Trevor Project, LGBT issues, and lover of Fashion...I am honored to be part of the events and on Monday April 4Th, I will be at Emerson College's Bill Bordy Theater for a very special appearance and lecture, entitled (Wait For It!)..."Fashion God: Nick Verreos" (if I can only LIVE up to that!!!). Of course, I'll also pose for Facebook pics afterward--and if you come, you have a good chance you might end up on THIS little ol' BLOG of mine because....YES, I will be posting a FUN Recap of my time in Emerson College! Gustavo Martin Schmitt, model and university student of 24 years, will represent the islands of the Delta Jacuí (RS) in Mister Brazil 2011.




Natural Paved, land of the current Mister Brazil, Jonas Sulzbach, Gustavo is studying law at the University Center Univates. He speaks English fluently.

The Delta is a joint hydrographic Jacuí of several islands that are formed from the confluence of the rivers Gravesend, Bell, Fell and Jacuí. They are the waters that pass through the Delta Jacuí forming Guaíba Lake, whose waters flow to the Laguna dos Patos, and sequence, to the Atlantic Ocean. The vast majority of these islands is located in Porto Alegre, capital of Rio Grande do Sul

Replacement of the Sailors on the Island: William Schoeter had his masters in London the defense moved to May 3, which make it impossible to participate in the national contest. His deputy and representative of the island state in the Mister Brazil is the model Eddy White, gaucho of Erechim. Eddy is 24 years old and 1.83 m high.



In 2010, the Island of the Sailors won second place in Mister Brazil, Marlon Gregori. Marlon represented Brazil in the Manhunt International in Taiwan, and was third.

The Island of Lobos, the only oceanic island in Rio Grande do Sul, could not have had a better debut in 2010 in the Mister Brazil: Jonas Sulzbach, the first Island of Mister Wolves, won the title of Mister Brazil 2010. His successor is also a model gaucho Anderson Firmino.



Anderson has 26 years, is a model for L'Agence, and lives in São Paulo.

Representing the various islands that are home to much of the capital of Santa Catarina, Nuhrich Henry, 20, administrator, was elected on the casting Mister islands of Florianopolis.



"I feel honored to represent more than 30 islands that make up over 97% of the capital of our state, and may disclose the beaches and environmental projects," says the candidate.

Henry is 1.90 m tall, and holds its shape fighting jiu-jitsu, a sport that taught him the meaning of victory and also defeat.

Mister Islands Florianopolis would love to know the Dalai Lama, and if he could eat sushi every day!

He competes for the title of Mister Brazil 2011, May 7, at the Hotel do Frade, Angra dos Reis.

Mister Mato Grosso do Sul in 2011 bears a slight hearing loss, which was never obstructions to chase their goals.
