Mariska Schoeman (I'm not certain if she is related to the reigning Miss World New Zealand or not) was recently crowned Miss Global Teen New Zealand. Mariska will represent her adopted country at the Miss Global Teen pageant to be held in Brazil later this year. With her coronation, she becomes the third former South African to currently hold a national beauty title in New Zealand.
I suppose it's only a matter of time before the home-grown New Zealand beauties march on parliament and toyi-toyi to have former South Africans excluded from national beauty contests in the country.
