MMK "Tsinelas" feat. AJ Perez, highest-rating MMK episode in 2011

MMK's April 30 episode entitled "Tsinelas" which featured late actor AJ Perez with c in his last acting portrayal posted a very high nationwide rating of 34.3%, to become the top-rating program that day.

Kantar Media / TNS rating figures for MMK episodes this 2011 so far show that AJ Perez's episode was also the highest-rating MMK episode this year.

It was able to beat the record made by MMK April 2 episode which featured the life story of Jovit Baldivino and had 33.2% rating.

Apart from being a top-rater, it's certainly among the most talked-about MMK episodes ever when AJ Perez and MMK made it as #2 trending topic on Twitter during its airing last Saturday.

Truly, it's one of the most memorable episodes of MMK in its 20-year history.

Our wish that AJ Perez' MMK episode will top the ratings chart has been granted. Our next target: an acting nominations for AJ Perez and even Bugoy Carino for their effective portrayal in the said MMK episode. Let's all wish for that.

Program Rankings: April 18 to 22 (TNS / Kantar Media)

GMA 7's Eat Bulaga was the most-watched daytime program last Holy Week while ABS-CBN's Mara Clara was the most-watched on primetime, according to Kantar Media / TNS' latest national ratings for the period April 18 to 22.

Meanwhile, Pilipinas Got Talent, which revealed last Sunday its Top 36 Semi-Finalists, was the #1 program last weekend.

Jovit Baldivino Story on MMK, most-watched last weekend: Kantar Media

Jovit Baldivino's life story on Maalaala Mo Kaya (MMK) last Saturday, April 2, 2011, got the highest nationwide ratings, based on the figures released awhile ago by Kantar Media / TNS.

The said episode which was entitled "Siomai" got a very high rating of 33.2% for MMK to lead all programs, beating Pilipinas Got Talent (PGT) which was the #1 program during the last 2 weeks.

Those two programs, MMK and PGT, are actually switching places in the top position of the nationwide programs since PGT debuted in February.

MMK's rating last Saturday featuring the life story of Jovit Baldivino was higher than the rating of its Mar. 12 episode about Angeline Quinto's life story which only had 27.6%.

It's also MMK's highest rating episode for 2011.

For its debut week, Captain Barbell ranked 5th over-all.

The program rankings below are for the period March 14 to 20, 2011.GMA 7's Temptation Of Wife is truly the undisputed leader during daytime, both in Mega Manila and Nationwide.Same goes for ABS-CBN's Mara Clara who consistently rules primetime, may it be Mega Manila or National.
