Natalie Portman's 2011 Academy Awards Arrival

Bringing her stunning beauty to the red carpet, Natalie Portman turned up for the 83nd annual Academy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday evening (February 27).
Held at the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center, the expecting actress was the center of attention as she perused along the red carpet ahead of the festive ceremony.
Miss Portman is planning on having a big night - as she's the odds on favorite to take home Best Actress honors for her work in "Black Swan".
Making for quite the star-studded affair, celebrity presenters hitting the stage include Scarlett Johansson, Halle Berry, Jude Law and Matthew McConaughey.
The Oscar Awards are hosted by Anne Hathaway and James Franco while airing live on ABC at 8PM ET.

Natalie Portman Gets Trashy

Don’t start freaking out, I’m a Natalie Portman fan just like everyone else. She is smart, talented, sexy, and half-naked in these pictures. Whew! If only she was. Instead she showed up to some event in a trash bag. No wait. It was a curtain. I am still totally in love with her and I am not a fashion critic but when I see my future wife wearing “GLAD” clothing, I shudder. Don’t get me wrong, I love seeing Natatlie’s boobs hanging out or even seeing as much as I can. Its a fashion faux pas at its best and we are here to say OMG!

17th Annual SAG Awards: Who Wore What? Natalie Portman in Azzaro

Natalie Portman in Custom Azzaro Spring 2010

"Black Swan" actress Natalie Portman wore a strapless white silk crepe column gown from Azzaro and its Argentine Designer Vanessa Seward. First of all, can Natalie Portman get MORE beautiful? Her make-up, hair: Absolutely GLOWING.

Now onto her gown: It looks like a combination of two dresses from the Azzaro Spring 2010 Collection originally shown two years ago on October 2009 (it still looks fresh and modern kids!). One is long and features pleated drapes originating from the bust at center front with no neckline trim-but styled with a gold sequin bolero (as seen above).

And the other is a shorter more trapeze-shaped cocktail dress which has almost the same crystal trim at the neckline as in Portman's. I like this gown on Natalie and it's nice to see a pregnant young lady wearing a fitted column gown instead of a tent-line Empire-style one. I'm just thinking it might be a little too tight on her.

What do guys think?

The Woman Makes The Dress: Julia Roberts and Natalie Portman

Julia Roberts in Valentino, receiving her Academy Award

Natalie Portman in Rodarte, 2009 Academy Awards

This week's episode of Style Network's "Style Star"--the show I am one of the "fashion commentators" on--we discuss the two STUNNING actresses Julia Roberts and Natalie Portman. They prove that the dress does NOT make the woman but that the woman--Julia and Natalie respectively--make the dress!

Natalie Portman Pictures

Natalie Hershlag (born June 9, 1981), better known by her stage name Natalie Portman, is an Israeli and American actress. Her first role was as an orphan taken in by a hitman in the 1994 French action film Léon. During the 1990s, Portman had major roles in films including Beautiful Girls and Anywhere but Here, before being cast for the role as Padmé Amidala in the Star Wars prequel trilogy. In 1999, she enrolled at Harvard University to study psychology while she was working on the Star Wars films. She completed her bachelor's degree in 2003. In 2001, Portman opened in New York City's Public Theater production of Anton Chekhov's The Seagull. In 2005, Portman received a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress as well as winning the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress - Motion Picture for the drama Closer.

She shaved her head and learned to speak with a British accent for her starring role in V for Vendetta (2006), for which she won a Constellation Award for Best Female Performance, and a Saturn Award for Best Actress. She played leading roles in the historical dramas Goya's Ghosts (2006) and The Other Boleyn Girl (2008). In May 2008, she served as the youngest member of the 61st Annual Cannes Film Festival jury. Portman's directorial debut, Eve, opened the 65th Venice International Film Festival's shorts competition in 2008. In 2011, Portman won the Academy Award, the Golden Globe Award, the Screen Actors Guild Award, and the BAFTA Award for her lead performance in Black Swan.

68th Annual Golden Globe Awards Fashion: Who Wore What? Natalie Portman in Viktor and Rolf

What was "Black Swan" actress Natalie Portman going to wear? This was the BIG Fashion Question on everyone's lips. Tout le Monde (including moi) said it was going to be Dior (she's a Spokesperson for Dior Perfumes) or Rodarte (they costumed "Black Swan"), but no, she wore a strapless dusty pink silk charmeuse gown by the Dutch design duo of Viktor & Rolf.

The silhouette, and draped cascading center front ruffle were perfect to "hide" her little baby bump. And the oversized sequin rose placed right at the bust line also drew your eye to her gorgeous face. She looked pretty, elegant and rather "Madonna (not the singer kids!) with Waiting Child"-like.

Natalie Portman Reveals Her Booty in New Film

Who knew that Natalie had quite the big booty! That’s why she needs to show more skin in her films. Whatever with the “Ooh, I’m such a big-time dramatic actress, I have to do serious dramas and artsy-fartsy nudity for Black Swan”, whatever with that! And that’s why it perked up my lateralus oblongata when these screencaps surfaced of Natalie’s new film showing her in her skivvies!

The film is called “Your Highness” and is being labeled as an R-rated medieval comedy with James Franco and Danny McBride and features “strong crude and sexual content, pervasive language, nudity, violence and some drug use”. The nudity better be from Natalie!
