"No Other Woman" movie - full trailer released, receives positive feedback

The Star Cinema and Viva Films co-produced movie "No Other Woman" will soon hit theaters beginning September 28, 2011 and it's recently-released full trailer is getting mostly positive feedback.

The movie's scenes, as shown in its trailer, are quite intense, have catchy dialogues and the actors (Anne Curtis, Derek Ramsay, Cristine Reyes and even Carmi Martin) are already showing great performances in the trailer alone.

That probably explains why "No Other Woman" was trending not only in the Philippines, but also worldwide.

In other words, the excitement is already high for the movie two weeks before it opens in Philippine cinemas.

A potential box-office hit!

Watch the full trailer of "No Other Woman", a movie co-produced by Star Cinema and Viva Films, starring three of the hottest (really hot) stars today: Anne Curtis, Derek Ramsay and Cristine Reyes:

"No Other Woman" is directed by Ruel S. Bayani, best known as the director of the hit Kapamilya teleserye(s) "Tayong Dalawa" and "Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin".

Albie Casiño OUT of Kathryn-Julia movie?

Albie Casiño is reportedly OUT of the new Star Cinema movie which stars Mara Clara's Kathryn Bernardo and Julia Montes. But according to Star Cinema, Albie Casiño, who's well-loved by the viewers as Christian on Mara Clara, will still be Kathryn's leading man in the new movie, as reported tonight on TV Patrol amidst rumors that Albie has been removed from the cast already.

Reportedly, Albie Casiño was removed from the cast because of his recent controversy with ex-girlfriend Andi Eigenmann who Albie described on Formspring as a cheater. (Read: "Andi is a cheater - Albie Casiño via Formspring")

KathBie (Kathryn-Albie) fans will be the "unhappiest" to hear if it's true, but thanks, it's not true at all.

It would be a bad idea to remove Albie from the movie. His loveteam with Kathryn also contributed to why Mara Clara became a top-rating soap on primetime TV and definitely it will continue in the movies.

The said movie, which is directed by Jerry Lopez Sineneng replacing Cathy Garcia-Molina, will be Albie's first movie.

AJ Perez, who died last month in a vehicular accident, was supposed to be Julia Montes' leading in the movie. He's fellow Gigger Boys member Sam Concepcion is reportedly taking over the role.

'In The Name of Love' movie trailer released! Love it!

Before everyone takes a Holy Week holiday leave, Star Cinema released the official trailer of 'In The Name of Love' which stars Aga Muhlach, Angel Locsin and Jake Cuenca.

The trailer was first released via its official website (inthenameoflove.starcinema.com.ph or simply inthenameoflove.ph) and was later uploaded on Youtube (StarCinemaABSCBN).

The movie, which is directed by Olivia Lamasan, definitely has many amazing scenes squeezed in the 4-minute trailer. And I super love these ones:

Aga Muhlach Angel Locsin kissing scene

Angel in hot bathtub scene

Angel Locsin Jake Cuenca bed scene

Angel Locsin pole dancing

Angel pole dancer

Excited much to see it?

Here's the trailer of "In The Name of Love":

Gary V. is singing the theme song of this new movie of Aga Muhlach. In the past, he already sang the theme song of 4 Aga Muhlach movies: "Kailangan Kita", "Dubai", "All My Life" and "When Love Begins", 2 of which gave Aga the Box Office King title.

And for "In the Name of Love", Gary V. sings his own version of Matt Monro hit "Portrait of My Love".

"In The Name of Love" is showing on May 11, 2011.

April 23, Black Saturday, also happens to be the opening day of Star Cinema / M-Zet film "Pak! Pak! My Dr. Kwak!" starring 5-time Box-Office King Vic Sotto and 2007 Box-Office Queen Bea Alonzo.

And since it's a holiday, more people will be able to watch the movie, which is expected to do well in the box-office.

But of course, aside from going to the malls, watching a movie, enjoying a grand vacation or going to the beaches, first and foremost, it's important that we pray and repent first on this holiest time of the year.

'In The Name of Love' official movie poster

Star Cinema has released the official poster of the highly-anticipated movie "In The Name Of My Love" which pairs up King of Romantic-Drama Movies Aga Muhlach and the Philippines' Sexiest Angel Locsin for the first time.

I love the poster. My reaction when I first saw it was "Wow! So hot!" It's one eye-catching poster, and I think it's one of Star Cinema's best-looking posters.

"In The Name Of Love" will hit theaters this May 11, 2011, as Star Cinema's 18th Anniversary Offering, and whenever it's their anniversary offering or a Star Cinema movie is shown in May, it's always a hit. Speaking about "Here Comes The Bride", "BFF: Best Friend's Forever", "Caregiver", "All My Life" and "Ang Tanging Ina" which were all shown in May and were Star Cinema's anniversary offerings.

Joining Aga Muhlach and Angel Locsin in "In The Name of Love" is hunkified actor Jake Cuenca.

Directed by Olivia Lamasan, the movie also stars Dante Rivero, Carmi Martin, Leo Rialp, Smokey Manaloto, Ryan Eigenmann, Emilio Garcia, Kat Alano, Dimples Romana, Bobby Andrews, Michael Flores, Joshua Zamora, Nanding Josef, Maliksi Morales and Paul Salas.

Don't forget - May 11 - Mark your calendars now!!!

'Catch Me I'm In Love' rules Philippine box-office with P52.95 million in 5 days

'Catch Me I'm In Love', which stars Sarah Geronimo and Gerald Anderson, is the 4th Pinoy film to open this 2011 but it's so far the only certified box-office hit of the year.

Figures for the period March 23-27, 2011 are now available at BoxOfficeMojo.com and posted there is the P52.95 million 'Catch Me I'm In Love' in its first five days.

The Star Cinema-Viva Films co-produced movie topped the Philippine weekend box-office for that period, beating other new releases such as 'Sucker Punch', 'Justin Bieber: Never Say Never' and 'Limitless'.

That's quite a strong turnout because it's higher than the two box-office hits last year ("My Amnesia Girl" with 5-day opening gross of P43.9M and "Here Comes the Bride" with 5-day opening of P42.1M), and it almost surpassed the P53.2M first 5 days earnings of 'Petrang Kabayo'.

And when compared to the 1st 5 days grosses of Sarah's previous films, 'Catch Me I'm In Love' opening weekend almost reached the P58.45 opening weekend of 'A Very Special Love' in 2008, far lower than 'You Changed My Life' with P97.89M in 2009, but it's definitely much higher than last year's 'Hating Kapatid' with P43.1 M.

The movie also fared better than Gerald's films with Kim Chiu shown last year. 'Paano Na Kaya' had P41.4M and 'Till My Heartaches End' earned P33.0M during their first 5 days.

Meanwhile, 'Who's That Girl' which was solely produced by VIVA and released last March 2 has only earned P56.91 million in 4 weeks.

No data available yet from Box Office Mojo for the over-all gross receipts of February releases "Bulong" and "My Valentine Girls". But "Bulong" earned P67.27 million in 4 weeks while "My Valentine Girls" raked in only P44.26 million in 3 weeks.

It also stars Ejay Falcon and Queenie Padilla.

Robinhood, Robin himself, directed the film, which will be released by Star Cinema and will hit theaters on April 6, 2011.

The movie has been Graded B by the Cinema Evaluation Board (CEB) and received a General Patronage rating.

'Catch Me, I'm In Love' grosses P15 million on its opening day: Star Cinema

'Catch Me, I'm In Love' reportedly earned P15 million on its opening day last Wednesday, March 23, 2011.

The figure came from Star Cinema's Booking and Distribution Department, and it isn't surprising as the movie really has the box-office potential.

Thanks to the refreshing loveteam of Sarah Geronimo and Gerald Anderson, who unexpectedly brought out great screen chemistry despite coming from two successful loveteams.

Sarah had successful movie team-up with John Lloyd Cruz while Gerald was identified for the longest time with the Kimerald loveteam.

The P15 million opening gross of "Catch Me, I'm In Love" is in the same level with Star Cinema's previous box-office hits "A Love Story" and "In My Life".

"Catch Me, I'm In Love" is directed by Mae Czarina Cruz (the beautiful and brilliant director of "Babe, I Love You") and is graded B by the Cinema Evaluation Board.
