MYX VJ Search 2011 winners: Mike Advincula, K-la Rivera & Joyce Pring

MYX VJ Search 2011 has just concluded with the announcement of winners last night, July 27, 2011, at The Block Atrium in SM North EDSA.

Three winners have been named on this year's MYX VJ Search and they are: Joyce Pring, K-la Rivera and Mike Advincula.

Joyce Pring is a Fine Arts student from UP Diliman while K-la Rivera is most familiar to us as the 4th placer on Sharon's Search for the Next Female Pop Superstar.

MYX VJ Search 2011 male winner Mike Advincula meanwhile is an Industrial Engineering graduate from the De La Salle University.

He's 23 yeards, stands 6'1" and was the team captain of the DLSU Green Tankers. (Certified Hottie!!!)

Mike is also friends with actor Enchong Dee, his teammate in DLSU swim team. (Enchong even campaigned for Mike thru his K-Text)

UAAP Season 74 Opening this July 9 | Meet La Salle Green Archers' roster of players

Simon Atkins will still be the Team Captain of the De La Salle Green Archers in the upcoming UAAP Season 74.

It's now Simon Atkin's 5th Year to play for the Green Archers and for his final year, he will be leading the team in getting back the UAAP championship title which was won by the team 4 years ago during Simon's debut year in UAAP.

Simon is the only one playing on his 5th year among La Salle Green Archers players and we shall see if he will have a great final year in UAAP.

Aside from Atkins, returning players for DLSU Green Archers are Luis Alfonso "Luigi" De la Paz, Jarelan Tampus, Enrique Raphael "Aiki" Herrera, Philip "Papot" Paredes, Almond Vosotros, Mark Jovet Mendoza, Alvin Joseph "Maui" Villanueva, Joshua David Webb, Samuel Joseph "Sam" Marata, Martin John Reyes and Yutien Andrada.

Luis Alfonso "LA" Revilla will make a grand comeback for the Green Archers this UAAP Season 74 after missing out two seasons.

But definitely the team's new additions next season excite me the most. These photos would tell you why...

Roldan "Dan" Sara

Alfonso "Ponso" Gotladerafor

Arnold Van Opstal (Fil-German, stands 6'8")

So excited to see them play!

Not in pictures but also making his debut for the Green Archers is Norbert Torres. (Sorry, can't find a picture of you.)

I hope UAAP Season 74 will bring back the parade of players with their muses. Last year, there were no muses, but instead achievers from each school marched alongside the team captains.

For DLSU, Team Captain Simon Atkins escorted Enchong Dee during Season 73 Opening and let's all hope that for the new season, muses will be back and Atkins definitely would love to have Kim Chiu on his side as his muse. (Posible kaya?)

The UAAP Season 74 Opening Ceremonies will be held this July 9, that's a Saturday, at the Marikini Sports Center and will be aired live still on Studio 23.

Julia Montes and Enchong Dee: What's the real score?

Julia Montes and Enchong Dee are reportedly dating.

The rumor linking 16-year-old Julia Montes and 22-year-old Enchong Dee to each other actually started when SNN host Bianca Gonzalez revealed in one SNN episode that someone makes Enchong Dee so inspired.

And many people believe it's "Mara Clara" lead star Julia Montes, especially when they're spotted going out together.

A Facebook Fan Page called "ChongLia" coined after their names (Enchong and Julia) has been created recently and it's gaining followers.

I saw there this photo of the two, possibly taken during a "date":

Enchong Dee and Julia Montes date photo

On Elive's episode today, May 7, both Enchong Dee and Julia Montes denied there's something romantic going on between them, and insisted that they're just friends.

Will this rumored romance affect their respective careers in showbiz?

Enchong is identified in a loveteam with Erich Gonzales and both starring in "Maria La Del Barrio" which airs mid-2011 while Julia is on the rise as a "teleserye princess", portraying a lead role in the country's #1 primetime soap "Mara Clara".

Erich Gonzales - Enchong Dee, Kim Chiu - Gerald Anderson at Star Magic US Tour 2011

The loveteams of Erich Gonzales - Enchong Dee and Kim Chiu - Gerald Anderson performed together at the recent Star Magic Tour in the US.

And both loveteams did the "nose-to-nose" thing, which made the crowd screamed so loud. Can't blame the audience. It was really "kiligness" to the highest level.

Watch video:

John Lloyd Cruz now a certified concert performer. He performs solo here, singing Rivermaya's "Umaaraw, Umuulan". (I love JL's pants! It's bulging!)
