Us Girls' August Awards 2011 nominees bared

Studio 23's "Us Girls" has revealed the nominees for its 3rd August Awards (2011) and among the nominees are controversial stars like Marian Rivera, Dingdong Dantes, Heart Evangelista and more.

You've heard the news about Heart Evangelista vs Marian Rivera over Dingdong Dantes, but for Us Girls' August Awards 2011 to be presented next month, they're not competing against each other, as all three of them are nominated in different categories.

Dingdong Dantes is nominated as Most Fashionable Male alongside John Lloyd Cruz, Gerald Anderson, Sam Milby, Jericho Rosales, Jake Cuenca and some other, while girlfriend Marian Rivera is nominated again as Face of the Year along with Bea Alonzo, Angelica Panganiban, Maja Salvador, Jennylyn Mercado and more.

It's already Marian's 2nd consecutive year to get nominated in the said category. During the 2010 August Awards, she got nominated as Face of the Year but lost to Kim Chiu and Kristine Hermosa who tied for the award.

Heart Evangelista meanwhile gets a nod as Most Fashionable Female. Also nominated are Kim Chiu, Rhian Ramos, Georgina Wilson, Isabelle Daza, etc.

Even Heart's boyfriend Daniel Matsunaga is also nominated, but in another category (Bodies of the Year).

Who will be Us Girls' Icon of the Year? KC Concepcion and Angel Locsin won the award in 2009 and 2010 respectively. (I have a strong feeling Anne Curtis will get it this 2011.)

Sam Milby models Folded and Hung's new denim collection

This could be Sam Milby's hottest or, if not, the best ad campaign ever for Folded and Hung as he models the brand's newest denim collection, the bow-legged pants...

It's definitely one reason to feel hot this rainy season...

Erich Gonzales - Enchong Dee, Kim Chiu - Gerald Anderson at Star Magic US Tour 2011

The loveteams of Erich Gonzales - Enchong Dee and Kim Chiu - Gerald Anderson performed together at the recent Star Magic Tour in the US.

And both loveteams did the "nose-to-nose" thing, which made the crowd screamed so loud. Can't blame the audience. It was really "kiligness" to the highest level.

Simon Atkins favored over Gerald Anderson: Poll

Simon Atkins was highly favored on Mykiru's Poll asking the voters if they like Simon for Kim Chiu.

The said poll was conducted after Simon expressed on Twitter that he likes to meet Kim Chiu.

Over a thousand voters took part in the poll and 769 of them or a big 76.29% voted "Yes".

It was indeed a strong approval from those who participated in the poll since those who selected NO and still wanted Gerald Anderson for Kim were only 143 or 14.19%.

5.36% of the voters meanwhile wanted Enchong Dee for Kim while 4.17% opted to give other answers.

It's quite interesting what the "Other Answers" were as submitted by voters who probably don't like Simon nor Gerald and Enchong for Kim.

The most common answer was "Sam Milby". Yeah, some of them wanted Sam for Kim, while others answered "Jason Abalos" who once courted Kim.

A lot of them also opted not to choose anyone, coz they're leaving it all up to Kim to decide who she thinks is best for her.

Here's what others said:

*atkins and me
*atkins' too hot for kim
*bahala na si kim kung sino ang gusto nya.
*di ko type! mas mabuting maging old maid nalang si kim i'm sorry di ko siya type
*Friends ok! Kim will get hurt w/ likes of Simon like GE
*kim is not worth it for simon
*mag-PBA ka nalang muna pre ..marami pang darating dyan...
*marlon stockinger
*mas bagay sa doctor si kim!
*pwd rin kung tlgang nagkaguztuhan sila db?
*sana totoo na fe feel nya ky kim
*she knows best
*someone better, someday!
*wag na muna boyfriend
*wala me paki
*walang bagay kay kim!!!!!
*who cares!
*whoever makes Kim happy and honest to her....

Did Venus Raj replace Angel Locsin as endorser of Folded & Hung?

Venus Raj is the newest endorser of Folded & Hung, particularly for its swimwear line.

And here's Venus' very first ad campaign for Folded & Hung, released just a while ago:

Major, major hotness!!!

Now, did Venus Rej replace Angel Locsin as F&H endorser?

Some fans of Angel are worried that the "Imortal" star is no longer an endorser of Folded & Hung.

The Summer 2011 ad campaign of Sam Milby was released already last month, then Anne Curtis' ad followed and just today, Venus Raj's sexy swimwear ad has just been unveiled.

Where's Angel's Summer 2011 ad?

If you remember, last year, Angel also had uber-hot swimwear pics for Folded&Hung Summer 2010 campaign just like those of Venus.

Folded & Hung explained on Facebook that Angel hasn't done a pictorial yet for F&H Summer 2011 ad campaign because of busy schedule. "Angel was busy during the summer shoot for her TV show and movie...watch out for her though."
