Remona Moodley is an electrical engineering student at the University of Cape Town, for which she received a fully paid scholarship to attend. Remona aspires to start her own engineering company and to obtain her pilots license. She matriculated with 5 distinctions and received subject prizes for mathematics, science, biology and english.At 17, Remona was crowned Miss India South Africa and was placed in the top 5 at the Miss India Worldwide Pageant. She was also the runner-up at Miss SA Teen in 2006.
I really like her as a pageant contestant, and with speech and drama training could make her presence (something she lacked at Miss Teen) felt at the national pageant. I just wish someone would advise her that she should only enter in 2010, as she is not "African" enough to take the title this year.
