The Miss Peace International pageant in Nicosia, Northern Cyprus began yesterday with a press conference at the Golden Tulip Nicosia Hotel and Casino. Included in the group of 18 contestants at the pageant is Adele de Jongh, the recently-crowned Miss Winelands.Two more contestants are expected to arrive today to complete the field of 20 contestants. Miss Peace International and her runners-up will be announced at a gala event on Saturday 03 September.
