Marian Rivera binatokan si Manny Pacquiao sa Party Pilipinas, May 15 episode

Marian Rivera and Manny Pacquiao "batok" incident on Party Pilipinas last Sunday, May 15, is still being talked about as people continue to debate if it was just okay or not for Marian Rivera to do it to Manny Pacquiao.

Manny Pacquiao who won the fight against Sugar Shane Mosley last May 8 was given a homecoming party on GMA 7's Sunday musical variety show "Party Pilipinas" where he performed 6 songs (3 English and 3 Tagalog) along with Ogie Alcasid, Janno Gibbs and Lito Camo.

After his performances, Marian Rivera, Manny's co-star in "Show Me Da Manny", made a surprise appearance and there the "batok" incident happened.

Here's a screenshot of what happened:

Marian really hit Manny hard, but for close friends, I think it wasn't a big deal.

But for some viewers, they think it was kinda not proper to do it on live national TV, most especially to a Congressman and Pound-for-Pound King like Manny Pacquiao, who's well-respected and being idolized by many people around the world.

Here's a video of Manny Pacquiao's guesting on Party Pilipinas last Sunday, May 15, with Marian Rivera's "batok" incident happening on the last part:

What's your opinion on this Marian Rivera-Manny Pacquiao "batok" issue?

Kapuso hunks model shirtless on Party Pilipinas

Party Pilipinas celebrated a "Summer Holiday" last Sunday, April 10, 2011, and I super loved that song number of Jennylyn Mercado, Glaiza De Castro, Aicelle Santos and Maricris Garcia wherein some Kapuso hunks were modeling shirtless under the Summer heat while the 4 girls were singing.

I've been looking for some photos of it and I even asked that prod's "cutie" choreographer Juan Paulo Infante on Twitter if he has pictures of the shirtless hunks haha. Sadly, he doesn't have.

But anyway, thanks to the fans of Jennylyn Mercado who posted a video of that production number on Youtube so you can watch if in case you missed it.

The shirtless hunks in the said production number were twins MM & MJ Magno, Enzo Pineda, Rocco Nacino, Ian Batherson, Geoff Eigenmann, JC Tiuseco, Will Devaughn, Kris Lawrence and Brapanese trio Hideo Muraoka, Fabio Ide and Daniel Matsunaga.

JayR and Mark Bautista were also part of it but they weren't shirtless. (Ang KJ nyo naman!)

ASAP Rocks' live presentation in Cebu today, March 27, 2011, was a highly attended event as thousand Cebuanos rushed to the venue to see their favorite ASAP artists.

It was held at the Sugbu Road, South Road Properties (SRP) with an estimated crowd size of over 50,000.

Here's a photo of the crowd at ASAP Rocks' Cebu Special:

Meanwhile, ASAP's rival show also held a live presentation in another venue in Cebu.

Party Pilipinas staged its episode today at the Fuente Osmeña Circle with reportedly less than 1/8 of the crowd who watched ASAP Rocks at SRP.

I tried to confirm the crowd attendance straight from a Party Pilipinas insider in Cebu but here's what he said: "I have no idea."

For today's episode, Party Pilipinas actually staged simultaneous live presentations in 4 different venues, at the GMA Network Studio, Baguio City, Cebu and Davao, in celebration of the show's 1st Anniversary.
