Marzanne van der Merwe (20) from Stellenbosch was crowned Miss October at the Civic Centre in Kraaifontein last night. Her runners-up were Donique Leonard (18) from Mossel Bay, and Angelique Fouche (18) from George. The other contestants in the Top 5 were Alexia Kritikos (24) from Tygerberg Hills and Lee-Schae Solomons (19) from Bellville.During preliminary competition Marzanne was named Miss Hot Body, and Donique was named Miss Lovely Legs. The other award winners were Lee-Schae Solomons (Miss Beautiful Hair) and Emray May (Miss Personality).
The SA Beauties Blog was responsible for "scouting" all the contestants that eventually finished in the Top 4 positions.
