Just when I thought I'd heard, read and seen it all, I came across a link at Global Beauties for a new international pageant to be held in Poland in September: Miss Supranational. As if we don't have enough weird and wonderful pageants with the requisite following of dodgy national directors, shady contestants and skanky fans.I bet that the well-known pageant organisation from Boksburg or Germiston or Kempton Park or Brakpan or...well one of those East Rand metropolises...is already putting it's pool of recyclable pageant girls through their paces, warming them up for this one. Who knows, we might even see a few of them competing as Miss Botswana and Miss Portugal and Miss Lebanon and Miss Scotland and Miss Zimbabwe and Miss Swaziland and Miss Italy and Miss Greece and Miss Namibia...
