The Americas zone produced the usual high quality of contestants. Although I am not a fan of Miss Venezuela this year, I could not over-look the fact that she comes from the most successful pageant country in the world and decided to leave out Miss Bahamas and include her in the group of 5 instead.
I honestly think that Miss USA is looking haggard and she will only progress because she is Miss USA. There are a number of strong black contestants from the Americas this year, but their make-up and styling has been horrendous in a number of photographs.
My picks for the Americas zone are Jamaica, Mexico, Uruguay, USA and Venezuela.
I think that my personal preferences will result in an all-time low "score" this year.
